Holistic House and Community Healing Foundation (HHCF) is a Trenton-based nonprofit built around one truth: healing is possible for every person and every family when the right support shows up at the right time.
We provide mentoring, behavioral health support, and family-centered programming to youth and families across Mercer County, and through virtual services, to families throughout all of New Jersey. Whether you are a parent searching for answers, a young person looking for direction, or a partner ready to create change, you will find what you need here.

HHCF Takes Root in Trenton
Born from the belief that every person, especially those overlooked, deserves access to healing. We begin with a focus on the neurodivergent community.
2012 to 2020
Roots, Partners and Growing Reach
HHCF earns 501(c)(3) status and builds a network of community partners, licensed mentors, and clinical collaborators. Virtual services begin extending reach statewide.
2021 to 2024
New Programs, New Partnerships
The HBS Mentoring Program launches, free for the first 100 youth ages 12 to 21, in partnership with Capitol County Children's Collaborative.
2025
A New Home and a Season of Showing Up
HHCF moves into 200 West State Street. Books, Bonds and Brighter Futures launches at TCNJ. From Practice to Purpose hosts student-athletes at Rider University.
2026 Right Now
Healing Closet · Power Lab · Impact Report Vol. 1
The Healing Closet provides free clothing and toiletries. The Power Lab opens 20 laptop stations. Our first Impact Report publishes: 300+ engaged, 11 partners, 8 events. Read the Report

Known throughout Trenton as "Coach Boone," Dr. Cecil Boone is the heartbeat of HHCF's youth programming. With a doctorate in education and decades of community leadership, he walks into every room with the same conviction: every young person deserves to believe in their own future.
When Dr. Boone leads a workshop, youth leave with more than information. They leave with a genuine sense of what is possible.

Tamara Pommells is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor with nearly three decades of experience walking alongside people through their most challenging chapters.
As HHCF's Lead Clinician, Tamara brings deep expertise in trauma-informed care, neurodivergent populations, and behavioral health. She is also the owner of Holistic Behavioral Solutions, ensuring every program HHCF delivers is grounded in clinical excellence and genuine compassion.
